I discovered painting midlife after winning an art class. That explosion of creativity is still going on.

I am a self-taught artist. I use every kind of medium and I love impressionism. I like to paint quickly and see what shows up, but I’ve learned to slow the process when I need to.

I consider my discovery of painting later in life to be a gift from God for the rest of my life. Through it I have been able to express an entire dictionary of emotions. This gift of creating is a balm from the Lord. I take the time to listen when I sit at the canvas. I strive to create with no fear. Slow down to allow the creative urges to show up and then follow them. They are there.

I love to hold intimate ‘Open Canvas’ classes for others who are interested in exploring the gift of the creative process and its’ healing ways. To step past the fear of a blank but open canvas.

I have a huge creative bent. I believe everyone is gifted with this as we are our Father’s children and created in His image.
